The Karl Heinrich Ulrichs Award is an award presented by the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender & Intersex Law Association (ILGLaw) in honour of a distinguished lifetime contribution to the advancement of LGBTI rights. The award is named in honour of Karl Heinrich Ulrichs, a German activist who is believed to have been the world's first openly gay lawyer.
The award was announced in 2002, and presented for the first time in 2005. The award is presented every three years at the organization's international conference.
